SGS Entertainments – Terms & Conditions 1.⁠ ⁠Deposit Requirement 1.1.To confirm any booking with SGS Entertainments, a non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit amount will be specified at the time of booking and must be paid within the agreed timeframe to secure the date and services. 2.⁠ ⁠Purpose of Deposit 2.1.All deposits are used to reserve your chosen date/time and cover essential planning, preparation, and administrative work. Once paid, this deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations or changes initiated by the client. 3.⁠ ⁠Payment Terms 3.1.The deposit amount and due date will be confirmed in writing (Email, Message, or invoice). 3.2.Final payment must be received no later than [time frame, e.g., Day of Function] before the event, unless otherwise agreed. 3.3.Non-payment may result in cancellation of services without refund of the deposit. 4.⁠ ⁠Cancellation by Client 4.1.If you cancel your booking at any time after the deposit has been paid, the deposit will not be refunded. 4.2.If cancellation occurs within [insert time frame, e.g., 14 days] of the Event, further charges may apply depending on the nature of the services booked. 5.⁠ ⁠Rescheduling 5.1.Rescheduling requests will be considered based on availability. 5.2.If rescheduling is possible, SGS Entertainments may transfer your deposit to a new date at our discretion. 5.3.If no suitable date is available or you choose not to reschedule, the deposit remains non-refundable. 6.⁠ ⁠Cancellation by SGS Entertainments 6.1.In the rare event that SGS Entertainments must cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, all monies paid (including the deposit) will be refunded in full or an alternative date/service will be offered. 6.2.SGS Entertainments will not be held liable for any additional costs or losses incurred due to cancellation 7.⁠ ⁠Agreement to Terms 7.1.By paying the deposit, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. It is your responsibility to read and understand them before making any payment. 8.⁠ ⁠Charges for Damages or Loss to SGS Entertainments Property 8.1. Client Responsibility The client (hirer) is fully responsible for any damage to, or loss of, SGS Entertainments’ equipment, property, or hired items that occurs during the hire period, whether caused by the client, guests, venue staff, or third parties. 8.2. Inspection & Reporting All equipment is checked prior to and after each event. Any damages or missing items will be documented, and the client will be notified in writing within 48 hours after the event. 8.3. Charges The client agrees to cover the full repair or replacement costs for any damaged or missing items. If repairs are not viable, the client will be charged for the full replacement value of the affected item(s). Additional fees may apply for labour, cleaning, or emergency callouts if damage causes disruption to services or future bookings. 8.4. Security & Supervision It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all SGS Entertainments equipment is used appropriately and not left unattended in unsecured environments. Any negligence resulting in damage or loss will be charged accordingly. 8.5. Payment Terms for Damages Invoices for damages or loss must be paid within 7 days of issue. Failure to settle the invoice may result in legal action and cancellation of future bookings with SGS Entertainments. SGS Entertainments – Terms & Conditions for Use of Photographs Effective Date: [01/02/25] By participating in events or services organized or affiliated with SGS Entertainments, you agree to the following terms regarding the use of photographs and other media content: 1.⁠ ⁠Consent to Photography and Videography By attending any SGS Entertainments event or engaging with its services, you consent to being photographed and/or filmed. These images and recordings may include your likeness, voice, or actions. 2.⁠ ⁠Usage Rights SGS Entertainments reserves the right to use any photographs or video footage taken during its events or services for the following purposes: 2.1.Marketing and promotional materials (online and offline) 2.2.Social media posts and advertisements 2.3.Website content 2.4.Press and media releases 2.5.Event documentation and future publicity 3.⁠ ⁠Ownership All photographs and videos taken by or on behalf of SGS Entertainments remain the property of SGS Entertainments or its authorized photographers. No compensation will be provided for the use of your image or likeness. 4.⁠ ⁠Withdrawal of Consent If you wish to withdraw your consent for a specific image or video in which you are featured, you must submit a written request to info@sgsentertainments.com with sufficient details to identify the material. SGS Entertainments will review the request and, where reasonable, remove the content from future use. 5.⁠ ⁠Third-Party Sharing SGS Entertainments will not share media content with third-party partners, sponsors, or media outlets strictly for promotional and reporting purposes. 6.⁠ ⁠Event-Specific Notices Some events may include additional or alternative media policies. Such conditions will be made available via signage or announcements at the event venue or during registration. 7.⁠ ⁠Minors A.If a photograph or video features a minor (under 16 years old), consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian. SGS Entertainments takes reasonable steps to ensure this consent is obtained at youth events.
